Facility

  1. BioScience Lab (PC2) at University of Technology Sydney: For all the general biological work such as tissue culture, protein and nucleic acid analysis, flow cytometry, and human sample handling. We also own a bench-top surface plasmon resonance (OpenSPR) for biointeraction monitoring and a 4-laser nanoparticle tracking analysis (ZetaView) for nanoparticle characterisation.

  2. Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF): To access facilities and related support for the micro/nanofabrication processes for micro/nanostructured devices, such as photolithography, E-beam lithography, metal deposition and dry etching.

  3. Biophotonics Lab, School of Physics, UNSW: We have access to the Biophotonics Lab at UNSW in collaboration with A/Prof. Peter Reece. We have customised optical setups for optical biosensing, super-resolution microscopy, and a picoliter liquid dispenser.

  4. Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre, UNSW: To access all the characterisation facilities and related support for our projects such as SEM, TEM and Cryo-EM
